Brake Calipers

The range includes calipers for specific vehicles and universal calipers:

• Alcon: front and rear calipers in 2, 4 and 6-piston layouts, including the RC4, RC6, TA4, TA6, Mono4, Mono6, R5 Billet, Billet, Street and Motorsport(s) variants.
• AP Racing: the CP9660 universal caliper.
• Cusco: a lightweight front brake caliper for the Toyota GR Yaris and GR Corolla.

Caliper fitment depends on the hub, rotor size and mounting spacing, not the badge. Check the fitment details on each listing.

Before you choose, confirm:

• Front or rear: each listing states which axle the caliper is for.
• Piston count: 2, 4 or 6 pistons.
• Rotor size: the diameter and thickness the caliper is designed to run on.
• Mounting: the mounting spacing and whether a bracket is needed.
• Wheel clearance: your wheel size, spoke shape and offset.

Factory calipers are built to a cost and weight target. Under repeated hard stops, a flexible caliper body adds pedal travel. Aftermarket fixed calipers use a stiffer body, opposed pistons and better seals. This keeps pad pressure even and pedal height predictable, and it helps pads wear flatter with less tapering.

Keep expectations realistic: a caliper upgrade alone rarely adds much outright stopping power, because tyres and pad compound set the limit. What calipers give you is consistency and feel.

Most caliper jobs need:

• new pads to suit the caliper
• fresh high-temperature brake fluid and a full bleed
• correct bedding in of the pads

Other parts you may need:

• Brake Wear Sensors, if your car has a factory pad wear warning system.
• A Master Cylinder Brace, to further firm up pedal feel.
• Caliper Rebuild Kits, if you're refreshing an existing caliper instead of replacing it.

Will a performance caliper fit my factory rotors?
Not always. Larger calipers usually need a specific rotor diameter and a mounting bracket, so check the fitment listed on the product before ordering.

Will the calipers clear my wheels?
Check the clearance information on the listing against your wheel size, spoke shape and offset. Some upgrades need a larger wheel than standard.

Do I need new pads with new calipers?
Yes. Use fresh pads matched to the caliper and bed them in properly. Worn or tapered pads will spoil pedal feel from the start.

Does a caliper upgrade affect ABS?
Most upgrades keep the factory ABS system. However, a big change in front-to-rear clamping balance can change how the car behaves under heavy braking, so discuss brake balance with your installer.
