Return & Refund Policy

At Chicane, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, we offer options to make the process smooth and hassle-free.

1. Returns & Eligibility

  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving the product.
  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition.
  • Custom-made or special-order items cannot be returned unless faulty.
  • Electrical components cannot be returned once opened.

2. Restocking Fees & Exchange Benefits

  • A restocking fee of up to 20% may apply for returns requesting a refund.
  • No restocking fee applies if you choose store credit or an exchange instead of a refund.

3. Return Process

  1. Contact our customer service team at sales@chicaneaustralia.com.au to request a return authorisation.
  2. Once approved, return the item in its original condition with all packaging and accessories.
  3. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  4. Once the item is received and inspected, we will process your refund, exchange, or store credit as per your choice.

4. Refunds, Store Credit & Exchanges

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days, minus applicable restocking fees.
  • Store Credit can be used for future purchases and does not incur a restocking fee.
  • Exchanges for a different product or size are available and do not incur a restocking fee.

5. Faulty or Incorrect Products

We comply with Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees your rights to refunds, repairs, or replacements if a product is faulty, not as described, or does not perform as expected. If you believe your item is defective or incorrect, please contact us immediately.

6. Exclusions

  • Change-of-mind returns are not eligible for a refund on certain products, including clearance or special-order items.
  • Items that have been installed, used, or modified cannot be returned unless faulty.
