Wing Accessories

This collection covers parts that work with a wing or spoiler. These are the main types:

• Gurney flaps: A small lip that attaches to the trailing edge of a factory wing to change its aero profile. They are available from APR Performance and PERRIN.
• Side plates and hardware: Carbon fibre end plates for APR GTC-200 and GTC-300 wings, plus a separate side plate hardware pack.
• Risers and stabilisers: These raise or brace a wing. Options include the PERRIN riser kit for the BRZ, PERRIN wing stabilisers for the STI and the APR GTC-200 2.5" riser.
• Mounting brackets and stays: Cusco and Seibon brackets for the Honda Civic Type R (FL5).
• Roof spoilers: Spoon Sports roof spoilers in carbon or FRP for the Honda Civic (FK7/FK8).
• Setup tools: The APR Performance Digital Wing Angle Indicator, which checks wing angle.

• Match the chassis code and body style: Many Subaru parts are specific to one chassis.
  • Gurney flaps are listed for the WRX (GH8) / STI (GRF) hatchback and the WRX (VAG) / STI (VAB).
  • PERRIN wing stabilisers are listed separately for the STI (GDB), STI (VAB) and STI sedan (GVF).
• Check the model year: The PERRIN wing riser kit suits the Subaru BRZ (ZC6) 2017–2020. APR's Civic Type R gurney flap suits the FK8 (2017–2021).
• Porsche Cayman GT4: APR gurney flaps are listed separately for the 981 Cayman GT4 and the 718 Cayman GT4.
• Know which APR wing you have: GTC-200 side plates come in V.1 (old) and V.2 (new) versions. GTC-300 side plates are a separate part. The 2.5" riser is for the universal GTC-200 only.
• Bracket style for the FL5 Civic Type R: Seibon offers BH-style and OEM-style brackets. Cusco offers a high-mount bracket and stay kit. Choose the one that suits the wing or spoiler you are running.
• Material: Spoon Sports roof spoilers for the Civic (FK7/FK8) come in carbon or FRP.

Most wing accessories mount to an existing wing, spoiler or boot lid. Check each product page for included hardware and any fitment conditions before ordering. Universal side plates may need the APR side plate hardware pack, depending on your setup. Once fitted, the APR Digital Wing Angle Indicator can help you set and repeat a wing angle. Installation by a professional is recommended.

What does a gurney flap do?
A gurney flap is a small lip fitted to the trailing edge of a wing to change its aerodynamic profile. The gurney flaps here are made for specific factory wings.

Do APR GTC-200 side plates fit every GTC-200 wing?
APR offers V.1 (old) and V.2 (new) GTC-200 side plates, so check which version your wing needs. GTC-300 side plates are sold separately.

Will a Subaru gurney flap or stabiliser fit any WRX or STI?
No. These parts are listed by chassis code and body style, such as GDB, GVF, VAB, VAG, GH8 and GRF, so match the part to your car.

Which brackets suit the Civic Type R FL5?
Seibon offers BH-style and OEM-style rear spoiler mounting brackets, and Cusco offers a high-mount rear wing bracket and stay kit for the FL5.
