• Chassis code: Listings are matched to specific chassis, including GC8, GD (GDA/GGA/GDB), GE8/GH8, GRF, VAB, BL5 Liberty GT Spec B, ZC6/ZD8 BRZ and ZN6 Toyota 86. Confirm your chassis code and model year before ordering. For example, separate front axles are listed for the WRX STI MY05–07, 2008–2015 and 2008–2021.
• Front or rear: Front and rear axles are not interchangeable, so check which end of the car the listing suits.
• Differential: Some GC8 rear axles and kits are listed specifically for the R180 differential, including cars fitted with an STI R180. Check which diff your car has.
• Power rating: DSS lists its axles at levels and power ratings, including 500HP, 750HP, 800HP and 1200HP. Choose a rating that suits your current and planned power and grip.
• Axle or axle/hub kit: Pro-Level and some Level 5 rear options are sold as axle/hub kits rather than axles alone. Some kits, such as the 86/BRZ Pro-Level kit, use a 2-piece outer housing.
• Single or pair: Some listings are sold as a single axle. Some rear axles are interchangeable left and right. Check each listing for the quantity supplied.

Replacing axles involves removing hubs and suspension components and torquing fasteners to the manufacturer's specifications. Axle/hub kits also involve replacing the hub assembly. Check each listing for what is included, and use the vehicle manufacturer's service information for torque figures and procedures. Installation by a professional is recommended.

Are the axles sold individually or as a pair?
It depends on the listing. Some front and rear axles are sold as a single unit, so check the listing for the quantity supplied.

What is the difference between an axle and an axle/hub kit?
An axle/hub kit pairs the axle with a matching hub, while an axle listing covers the axle only. Check the kit contents on each listing.

Do the GC8 rear axles suit an R180 differential?
Several GC8 rear options are listed specifically for the R180 differential, including cars fitted with an STI R180. Confirm which diff your car has before ordering.

Do BRZ axles also fit the Toyota 86?
The DSS options listed for the BRZ also cover the Toyota 86 (ZN6). The Pro-Level axle/hub kit also lists the ZD8 BRZ. Check the listing for your exact chassis.
