Find replacement rotor rings for your 2-piece brake rotors in seconds. Choose genuine Alcon rings, or match Paragon and DIXCEL rings to your Alcon, AP Racing, Brembo, Endless or StopTech assembly by size or part number. Every ring is sold as a left and right pair.

Measure your ring

e.g. 355mm e.g. 215.9mm e.g. 55mm (D55) e.g. 32mm Side view
1 Diameter: edge to edge, across the centre 2 Thickness: calipers across the two braking faces 3 PCD: centre of one bolt hole to the one opposite 4 Annulus (optional): height of the braking face only, outer edge to inner edge, above the mounting tabs. Matches the D number, e.g. D55 5 Bolt holes: count the mounting holes around the inner edge

Trouble finding rings for your Alcon, AP Racing or Brembo big brake kit?

Two-piece rotors are built to be serviced: when the friction ring wears out, you replace the ring and keep the aluminium hat. The hard part is finding a ring that matches. Kit makers use their own part numbers, rings are often only sold through the original supplier, and a ring that looks right can be a millimetre out on the PCD or have a different number of bolt holes. The Rotor Ring Finder solves that by matching on the measurements that actually decide fitment.

How the Rotor Ring Finder works

  1. Measure & match: enter the outside diameter, thickness and PCD of your old ring. Exact matches come first, then rings within 1mm or 3mm so you can see close alternatives. Narrow it down by the number of bolts.
  2. Search a part number: type the number off your old ring or kit, such as an AP Racing CP number, an Alcon DIV number or a Brembo 09. number, and we show the Paragon and DIXCEL rings that replace it.
  3. Filter by size: tap the diameter, thickness, PCD and bolt count you know. Sizes that would leave no rings are crossed out, so you never hit a dead end.
  4. Step by step: not sure of exact sizes? Pick a rough diameter band, then thickness, then PCD.

Replacement rings for the big brake kits Australians run

The finder covers more than 300 replacement rotor ring sizes from Paragon Performance, DIXCEL (FS slotted and FP plain) and genuine Alcon C-groove and S-groove rings. Many are direct replacements for rings from Alcon, AP Racing, Brembo, Endless, StopTech, Performance Friction (PFC) and DBA, and there are car-specific sets for factory 2-piece rotors such as the Honda Civic Type R (FK8/FL5), Nissan GT-R R35 and Subaru WRX STI. Paragon rings are cast from CM-250 high-carbon iron with directional vanes, heat treated and CBN machined, with run-out held within 0.03mm.

How to measure your rotor ring

  • Diameter: measure edge to edge straight across the centre of the ring.
  • Thickness: use calipers across the two braking faces, on an unworn section if you can.
  • PCD (bolt circle): measure from the centre of one mounting hole to the centre of the hole directly opposite. Count the holes too.
  • Annulus / pad depth: measure the height of the braking face from the outer edge to the inner edge. This is the pad swept area, shown as a D number (e.g. D55 = about 55mm). Check it suits your caliper's pads.

Rotor ring FAQs

Can I replace just the rings on a 2-piece rotor?

Yes. That is the point of a 2-piece rotor. The ring bolts to your existing hat. Most rings don't include hardware, and we recommend new bolts or bobbins when you change rings. Some car-specific sets include the hardware, and the listing says so.

Are Paragon and DIXCEL rings a direct replacement for Alcon, AP Racing or Brembo?

Where a ring lists a part number it replaces, it matches that ring's diameter, thickness, PCD and mounting. Always check your measurements against the specs on the listing before ordering.

Are rings sold in pairs?

Yes. Every ring in the finder is sold as a left and right pair for one axle.

What if I can't find my size?

Email a photo of your ring and your measurements to sales@chicaneaustralia.com.au. We'll check whether any ring we can supply matches it.
