• Smart or dumb coil: AEM universal coils come in smart and dumb versions. A dumb coil needs a separate coil driver, such as the AEM 1 Channel or 4 Channel Coil Driver.
• Colour: Dinan coils come in blue, red or black. APR coils and kits come in the colours shown in each product title.

Installation by a professional is recommended. Plan to inspect or replace your spark plugs at the same time. How do I find the right Dinan coil for my BMW?
Match your engine code to the series in the product title: M-Series, N-Series, N2-Series or B-Series. Then choose your colour.

Do the APR listings include spark plugs?
Only the listings titled "Ignition Coil and Spark Plug Kit" include spark plugs. The other APR listings are coils only.

What is the difference between the AEM smart and dumb coils?
The smart coil has a built-in driver. The dumb coil needs a separate coil driver, such as the AEM 1 Channel or 4 Channel Coil Driver.

Is the Subaru Genuine Ignition Coil Pack sold individually?
Yes. It is listed as a single coil for the WRX 06–14, STI 06–21 and Forester XT SH 08–13 (EJ25).
