Camshafts control when the intake and exhaust valves open and close and how long they stay open. This makes the camshaft one of the main factors in how an engine breathes and where it makes its power. This collection, part of our Engine Internals range, covers GSC Power-Division billet camshafts for engines including the Nissan RB26DETT, VR38DETT, VR30DDTT and VQ35DE, the BMW and Toyota B58, the BMW S58, the Subaru EJ255/EJ257 and EZ36D, the Toyota 3S-GTE, the Ford 5.0L Coyote and the Audi/Lamborghini 5.2L V10.

Choosing the Right Part
Engine code: Camshafts are matched to the engine, not just the car. Confirm your engine code first, for example RB26DETT, VR38DETT, B58, S58, EJ257, EZ36D or 3S-GTE.
Engine revision and year: Some engines have more than one camshaft listing. B58 cams are split by engine revision, and there is a separate Toyota/BMW B58 listing. Coyote cams are listed for 2018–2023 and 2024+ engines. Subaru EJ255/EJ257 listings are matched to intake AVCS engines, and EZ36D listings to single AVCS engines.
Duration figures: Most listings show two numbers, such as 272/272 or 292/300. These are the intake/exhaust duration figures. Higher numbers generally mean a more aggressive profile.
Grind level: GSC offers several levels per engine, such as S1, S2, S3, R and T grinds. Compare the figures and listing notes to find the one that suits your build.
Head and fuel requirements: Read the listing notes carefully. Some cams are marked "Requires Head Modification", "Ported Heads", "OEM Heads", "Methanol" or "Drag Race Only".
Included parts: Some B58 and S58 sets are listed "with Intake Trigger". Some sets, such as the Subaru EJ255/EJ257 S3, are sold as a complete set.
Installation & What You'll Need
Installation by a professional is recommended. Fitting camshafts involves engine timing and valvetrain clearances, and mistakes can cause serious engine damage. Depending on the profile, your build may also need upgraded valve springs and retainers, new gaskets and seals, and timing components. Check each product page for any conditions specific to your engine, and plan for an ECU tune to suit the new cam profile.
FAQ
What do the numbers in the camshaft title mean? They are the intake/exhaust duration figures for the cam profile, for example 272/272. Higher numbers generally mean a more aggressive cam.
Do any of these camshafts need cylinder head work? Yes, some do. Listings marked "Requires Head Modification" or "Ported Heads" are not designed for a standard head. Check the listing notes before ordering.
Will I need a tune after fitting new camshafts? Changing the cam profile changes how the engine breathes, so an ECU tune is typically needed to suit the new camshafts.
Which engines do you have camshafts for? The range includes the Nissan RB26DETT, VR38DETT, VR30DDTT and VQ35DE, the BMW/Toyota B58, the BMW S58, the Subaru EJ255/EJ257 and EZ36D, the Toyota 3S-GTE, the Ford 5.0L Coyote and the Audi/Lamborghini 5.2L V10.
