AP Racing calipers use pressure-die cast bodies and an asymmetrical (Radi-CAL) design to cut mass without losing rigidity. Less flex in the caliper means less pedal travel and a firmer, more consistent feel as the discs heat up. That matters more than raw clamping force once you're doing repeat hot laps rather than a single stop.
