KORSH Performance Exhaust Systems, Downpipes & Headers
KORSH is an Australian exhaust brand based on the Central Coast, NSW, and every system is engineered for right-hand-drive fitment using mandrel-bent stainless steel or titanium. The range covers the complete exhaust path from engine to tip — headers and up-pipes, downpipes, J-pipes, cat-back and turbo-back systems. Applications include Subaru WRX, STI, Forester XT, Liberty GT, Levorg, BRZ, Toyota 86/GR86, Honda Civic Type R (FK8/FL5) and Nissan GT-R R35.

Downpipes & J-Pipes
KORSH downpipes are offered in catted (high-flow catalytic converter) and catless configurations for Subaru WRX and STI across GD, GG, GE, GH, GR, GV and VA chassis codes, plus Forester XT (SG/SH) and Liberty GT (BL/BP). A catted J-pipe is available for the WRX (VA), Levorg (VM) and Forester XT (SJ), and a downpipe for the Honda Civic Type R (FK8/FL5). A 3-inch downpipe to OEM cat-back adapter suits owners running a KORSH downpipe with the factory cat-back system.
Cat-Back Exhaust Systems
Cat-back systems are available in stainless steel and titanium for the Subaru WRX (VB) and WRX/STI (GV/VA). The BRZ/86/GR86 cat-back covers ZC6, ZD8, ZN6 and ZN8 chassis codes for the naturally aspirated FA20/FA24 platform.
Turbo-Back Exhaust Systems
Turbo-back kits replace the entire exhaust path — downpipe, mid-pipe and cat-back — in one package. Available for WRX (GH/GR, GV, VA) and STI (GR, GV/VA) in stainless steel and titanium.
Headers & Up-Pipes
KORSH manufactures unequal length (UEL) and equal length (EL) 3-bolt headers with integrated up-pipes for Subaru WRX 1994–2014, STI 2002–2021, Liberty GT 2005–2009 and Forester XT 2004–2008. A twin scroll header and up-pipe kit suits twin scroll turbo applications. UEL headers are also offered for the BRZ/86 2012–2021 and the 2022+ GR86/BRZ.
Packages, Accessories & Adapters
COBB x KORSH engine-back and Stage 1+ packages are available for WRX (GV/GR, VAG, VB) and STI (GRF/GVF/VAB) with stainless or titanium cat-back options. The range also includes 3-port MAC solenoids for WRX/STI (GD, GE/GH/GR/GV, GR/GV/VA), Forester XT (SG/SH) and Liberty GT (BL/BP), TGV delete kits for WRX/STI and Forester XT (GD/GG/GR/GV/VA/SG), and a dry carbon 76mm intake kit with K&N filters for the Nissan GT-R R35.

Choosing the Right Part ▾
Fitment is determined by chassis code rather than model year alone, so check your build plate or compliance plate before ordering. Subaru turbo applications span GD/GG (2001–2007), GE/GH (2008–2014 WRX), GR/GV (2008–2014), VA (2015–2021) and VB (2022+), with Forester XT listed as SG, SH and SJ, and Liberty GT as BL/BP. BRZ and 86 models are listed as ZC6/ZN6 (2012–2021) and ZD8/ZN8 (2022+).
Decide on your exhaust path before selecting parts. A cat-back replaces everything after the catalytic converter, a turbo-back replaces the downpipe, mid-pipe and cat-back in one kit, and a header and up-pipe package addresses the engine side. If you are keeping the factory cat-back with a KORSH downpipe, the 3-inch downpipe to OEM cat-back adapter is the matching part.
On materials: stainless steel offers durability and corrosion resistance at a lower price point, while titanium is typically 40–50% lighter than stainless, develops a distinctive blue/purple heat colour and produces a sharper exhaust note. Header choice also matters — unequal length headers produce the traditional boxer rumble, while equal length headers deliver a smoother note, and twin scroll turbo cars require the matching twin scroll header and up-pipe.
Installation & What You'll Need ▾
Installation by a qualified professional workshop is strongly recommended. Exhaust work requires the vehicle to be safely raised and supported, and involves hot components, oxygen sensors and, on turbo applications, disturbing the turbocharger and its hardware.
Plan for fresh exhaust gaskets, nuts and studs where required, penetrating fluid for corroded fasteners, and anti-seize on reassembly. Oxygen sensors should be transferred carefully and torqued correctly. After fitting a downpipe or turbo-back system, a tune by a qualified tuner is generally required so the engine management suits the reduced backpressure. Catless downpipes and TGV deletes may not be legal for road use in your state or territory — check your local regulations before purchasing.
FAQ ▾
What is the difference between a cat-back and a turbo-back system?
A cat-back replaces the exhaust from the catalytic converter to the tip. A turbo-back replaces the entire path from the turbocharger back, including the downpipe, mid-pipe and cat-back, in one kit.
Should I choose stainless steel or titanium?
Stainless steel offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance at a lower price point. Titanium is typically 40–50% lighter, runs a distinctive blue/purple heat colour and produces a sharper note, which suits weight-conscious track builds.
What is the difference between unequal length and equal length headers?
Unequal length (UEL) headers produce the traditional Subaru boxer rumble, while equal length (EL) headers give a smoother, more even exhaust note. Twin scroll turbo cars need the dedicated twin scroll header and up-pipe kit.
Are KORSH products made in Australia?
Yes. KORSH is an Australian brand based on the Central Coast, NSW, and its systems are engineered for Australian right-hand-drive models using mandrel-bent tubing and TIG welding.
