Cupra Leon VZx (KL) 2022+ Performance Parts & Upgrades
The Cupra Leon VZx (KL) has been sold new in Australia since 2022, with a facelift arriving in mid-2025. It uses the 2.0 TSI EA888 evo4 turbo four and sits on the same MQB platform as the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R and the Audi S3, so several parts cross over. Choosing the Right Part
- Brakes: the VZx has been sold with different brake packages. Bremtec sensors suit Brembo calipers, so check yours before ordering.
- Downpipe choice: Scorpion makes a de-cat downpipe and a sports cat downpipe with GPF. The sports cat version is the one to choose for a road car.
- VZ or VZx: downpipes and some valves fit both, but the GPF-back systems are listed for the VZx. Check the title.
Installation
Have a qualified workshop fit exhaust, intake and suspension parts. Downpipe and intake upgrades usually need a tune to suit. Get a wheel alignment after fitting springs, and follow the maker's instructions and torque settings.
