Scorpion De-Cat Turbo Downpipe - Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk8/Mk8.5) / Clubsport / CUPRA Leon VZ / VZx - 76mm
This Scorpion de-cat turbo downpipe replaces the factory downpipe and catalytic converter with 76mm (3") mandrel-bent T304 stainless pipework for better exhaust flow from the turbo and a stronger, louder exhaust note. It connects to the OE or Scorpion exhaust. Scorpion lists it for GPF-equipped Golf GTI Mk8/Mk8.5 and Clubsport, CUPRA Leon 245 and 300 VZ3 (sold here as the Leon VZ and VZx) and Skoda Octavia vRS Mk4.
Note: This is Scorpion's GPF-model version. It suits Australian-delivered CUPRA Leon VZ and VZx, which have a GPF. Australian-delivered Golf GTI Mk8 (MY21-24) and Mk8.5 have no GPF – choose the non-GPF version (Scorpion De-Cat Turbo Downpipe - Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk8/Mk8.5) / Clubsport / CUPRA Leon VZ - 76mm). The Mk8 GTI Clubsport was not sold new in Australia. Scorpion advises the engine management light may come on and recommends a Stage 2 ECU remap. Installation by a professional is recommended.
