Mazda MX-5 (ND) 2015+ Performance Parts & Upgrades
The Mazda MX-5 (ND) was launched in Australia in 2015 with 1.5L and 2.0L Skyactiv-G engines driving the rear wheels, and the RF folding hardtop joined the soft-top roadster in 2017. It shares its chassis with the Fiat and Abarth 124 Spider, so many suspension parts suit both. Popular upgrades for the MX-5 ND
- Suspension: HARDRACE camber arms, toe and traction arms, sway bars, adjustable links and pillow ball bushings, plus SPL eccentric lockout kits and alignment parts.
- Coilovers and springs: Öhlins Road & Track, MOTON and AST coilovers, and AST lowering springs.

Choosing the Right Part
- 1.5L or 2.0L: the aFe intake and KOYORAD radiator are made for the 2.0L only. Check the engine size in the title.
- Roadster or RF: most parts fit both, but exhaust and body parts can differ. The Scorpion cat-back suits both.
- MX-5 or 124 Spider: the Abarth 124 Spider has a different engine, so only suspension parts listed for it will fit.
- Pillow ball or rubber: pillow ball bushings sharpen the steering but pass more noise into the cabin than hardened rubber.
Installation
Have a qualified workshop fit suspension, brake and engine parts. Get a wheel alignment after any suspension change, and bleed and road-test the brakes after brake work. Always follow the maker's instructions and torque settings.
