The Alcon CAR36 is a compact and efficient 4-piston rear caliper engineered for high-performance street and occasional track use. Built from billet aerospace-grade aluminium, it delivers excellent stiffness, low weight, and consistent braking performance.
Featuring equal-size 28.6mm pistons, the CAR36 offers a balanced braking response and simplified tuning. The use of stainless steel pistons improves thermal management by reducing heat transfer to the brake fluid, making it ideal for spirited driving. 2kg anti-knock back springs maintain consistent pad contact, while a bolted pad retainer ensures caliper rigidity and allows for easy pad servicing when removed.
Designed to work with 280–343mm brake discs, the CAR36 fits a wide range of performance setups and is ideal for rear axle applications in vehicles with 18” wheels and above.
