The Alcon CAR49 TA4+ is a lightweight, high-performance front brake caliper designed for both motorsport and street use. Crafted from forged aerospace-grade aluminum, it offers exceptional strength while keeping weight to a minimum.
It features ventilated stainless steel pistons with a low-friction coating for improved heat control, along with dust seals for added protection—making it suitable for daily driving and track days alike. Hard steel wear plates protect the caliper body from pad wear, and a bolted pad retainer increases stiffness for a firmer pedal feel.
Compatible with 332mm to 343mm rotors and 32mm rotor thickness, the CAR49 TA4+ is designed for high-performance brake systems. It uses the Alcon 4441 pad shape with 16mm pad thickness, and can be fitted in either leading or trailing configuration by swapping the crossover pipe.
