MP4-12C, 570S, 600LT, 650S and 675LT — M838T 3.8L twin-turbo V8

The M838T powers the MP4-12C, 570S, 600LT, 650S and 675LT. Factory output is already high — the 675LT produces over 500kW — and builds with upgraded turbos, downpipes and ECU calibration regularly push well beyond 600kW, which the factory injectors cannot support. Fuel demand increases by roughly 30 to 40% on E85.

A set of eight ID1050x injectors supports approximately 640 to 880kW at the crank on petrol at 80% duty cycle, or approximately 440 to 640kW on E85. Builds beyond those figures generally move to the ID1300x or ID1750x for additional flow headroom. Select your exact model — MP4-12C, 570S, 600LT, 650S or 675LT — when ordering.

720S — M840T 4.0L twin-turbo V8

Factory output exceeds 530kW, and tuned 720S builds with upgraded turbos and fuelling regularly exceed 750kW. Eight ID1050x injectors suit moderate power increases on petrol; the ID1300x (approximately 800 to 1,080kW on petrol across eight cylinders) is the more common choice for higher targets. Note that the McLaren 720S and Senna XDS kit is supplied as a 34mm set of 16.

P1 and Senna

Direct-fit Injector Dynamics configurations are available for both the P1 and Senna for owners moving beyond factory power levels. Select your model when ordering.

Check the flow rating (1050 / 1300 / 1750 / 2600cc), the 34mm body length and the set quantity (8 or 16) against your engine before ordering.

Installation and ECU calibration by a qualified professional workshop is strongly recommended. Fitting injectors without a matching tune can result in incorrect fuelling and engine damage.

Plan for new injector O-rings and clips as required, clean fuel rail sealing surfaces, and a tuner with access to the appropriate ECU platform — Injector Dynamics supplies characterisation data compatible with major platforms including Haltech, MoTeC and EcuTek. Larger injectors usually need supporting fuel system capacity, so consider filtration, pump and pump control hardware from this collection at the same time.
