From the Barra-powered Falcon XR6 Turbo — one of the most capable turbocharged six-cylinder engines ever built — to the Coyote V8 Mustang and the four-cylinder Focus RS, Ford platforms are some of the most actively modified cars in Australia. Injector Dynamics offers precisely characterised, dynamically matched fuel injectors with direct plug-and-play fitment across the full range of Australian and global Ford performance models.

Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo — Barra 4.0L (BA / BF / FG)
The Barra inline six is arguably the most tuneable turbocharged engine Australia has ever produced. With factory bottom ends regularly supporting 500kW and beyond, fuel delivery is almost always the first system to reach its limit in a serious Barra build — particularly on E85, which is the fuel of choice for the majority of high-power Barra setups in Australia.
A set of six Injector Dynamics ID1050x injectors supports approximately 480 to 660kW at the crank on petrol at 80% duty cycle. On E85, six ID1050x injectors support up to approximately 330 to 480kW at the crank — covering the majority of street and track Barra builds running moderate to high boost on E85.
For higher-power Barra builds pushing beyond 500kW on E85 — common in dedicated drag and dyno cars — the ID1300x provides the additional flow needed to maintain safe duty cycles. The ID1300x was designed specifically for alternative fuels with all stainless steel internals for extended E85 service life. A set of six ID1300x injectors supports approximately 600 to 810kW on petrol and approximately 420 to 600kW on E85. For extreme methanol builds, the ID1750x and ID2600x are available.
Select "Falcon XR6T (FG)" or "Falcon XR6T (BA and BF)" when ordering — the fitment codes differ between the earlier and later Barra platforms.
Pair your ID injectors with the Radium Engineering Barra fuel rail for a complete top-end fuel system upgrade. Radium's 17.5mm bore billet rail provides the fuel volume and pressure stability these injectors need at high flow rates — a significant improvement over the factory rail at elevated power levels.
Ford Falcon GT and GS — 5.0L Supercharged (FG X / 2010+)
The supercharged 5.0-litre V8 in the FG X Falcon GT and GS is already making serious power from factory. With pulley upgrades, intake work, and E85, these engines respond dramatically — and the factory injectors become the bottleneck. A set of eight ID1050x injectors provides massive headroom for these builds on both petrol and E85. Select "Falcon GT and GS 5.0 - 2010+" when ordering.
Ford Mustang GT — Coyote 5.0L (2011+) and GT500 (2020+)
The Coyote V8 Mustang has become one of the most popular V8 platforms in Australia since right-hand drive production began. Supercharged Coyote builds on E85 are increasingly common, and the factory injectors cannot support the fuel demand once significant power increases are made.
A set of eight ID1050x injectors on the Coyote supports approximately 640 to 880kW at the crank on petrol — far more than most supercharged Mustang builds will ever reach. On E85, eight ID1050x injectors still support up to approximately 440 to 640kW at the crank. For the GT500's supercharged 5.2-litre cross-plane crank V8, the same sizing applies — select "Mustang GT 2011+ (includes GT350)" or "Mustang GT500 2020+" when ordering.
Ford Focus RS
The turbocharged four-cylinder Focus RS is a popular platform for E85 conversions and stage upgrades in Australia. The factory injectors reach their limit quickly once boost is increased or E85 is introduced.
A set of four ID1050x injectors supports approximately 320 to 440kW at the crank on petrol — more than any realistic Focus RS build will need. On E85, four ID1050x injectors cover up to approximately 220 to 320kW, which handles even aggressive big-turbo RS builds comfortably. Two fitment variants are available — select "Focus RS" for the MK1 (set of 4) or "Focus RS MK II-IV" for later models (set of 5, as these use five-cylinder EcoBoost engines in some markets).
Why Injector Dynamics for Ford?
Every set of Injector Dynamics injectors ships with complete characterisation data — dynamic slope flow rates, dead time values across voltage and pressure ranges, and dynamic flow matching at multiple pulse widths. This data is compatible with all major ECU platforms used in the Ford tuning community including Haltech, MoTeC, Link, HP Tuners, and SCT/EFI Live for factory PCM tuning. Your tuner loads the data directly into the ECU for accurate fuelling from the first start-up.
All ID injectors are fully compatible with petrol, E85, E100, and methanol. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel internals are designed for extended service with aggressive fuels — essential for the Barra community where E85 is the default fuel choice for any serious build.
