Injector Dynamics BPC100 Brushless Pump Controller – No Pump Included

The Injector Dynamics BPC100 is a microprocessor-based controller for the TI Automotive E5LM brushless fuel pump. Paired with that pump it can supply enough fuel for more than 2,000 hp on ethanol, at up to 150 psi, from a single pump.

A normal pump's flow falls as voltage drops and fuel pressure rises. Injector Dynamics gives the example of a pair of 500 L/h pumps that flow 1,000 L/h at 3 bar and 13.5 V but can drop to around 500 L/h at 4 bar base pressure, 30 psi of boost and 12 V. The BPC100 powers the pump from its own internal supply and watches pump speed, so it holds the target flow as conditions change, up to 1,100 L/h.
