Choosing the Right Part
- Match the chassis and engine code. Most kits are listed by both, for example CZ4A for the Lancer Evolution X, CP9A / CT9A for the Evolution 4/5/6, JZX100 / 1JZ-GTE, or ZN6 / ZN8 / ZC6 / ZD8 for the 86 / GR86 / BRZ.
- Check the engine version. Some fuel rails are split by version. Subaru EJ20 top feed conversion rails come in V1-V2 and V3-V6 versions, and the 1JZ-GTE conversion suits non-VVTi engines only.
- Know your ventilation layout. Catch can kits are offered as PCV, CCV, dual or triple kits depending on the vehicle's crankcase ventilation setup.
- Confirm fitting sizes. Universal parts are listed by size and thread, such as 6AN, 10AN ORB, 4AN ORB and 5/16", 3/8" or 10mm quick connects.
