The Radium Engineering Fluid Lock® PCV Catch Can Kit for GM LS2, LS3 and LS7 engines is a direct-fit solution designed to prevent oil vapour, sludge, and moisture from entering the intake. By removing contaminants from the PCV stream, it helps maintain cleaner inlet air, stabilises octane, supports consistent performance, and reduces carbon build-up in the intake manifold and throttle body.

This latest-generation kit integrates Radium’s patented Fluid Lock® system, which prevents overfilling and ensures oil cannot spill back into the intake if the catch can is not serviced regularly. It is a closed-loop system, preventing unwanted vapours from entering the cabin and maintaining emissions functionality. The catch can mounts directly to the RH cylinder head with the supplied anodised bracket and connects inline with the OEM PCV system with no drilling required.

Fluid Lock® Technology

Radium’s patented Fluid Lock® system prevents the catch can from overflowing. If the reservoir reaches maximum capacity, the internal mechanism traps the collected fluid and stops it from being drawn back into the engine, addressing a common failure mode of traditional catch cans.

Collection & Maintenance

Oil and moisture accumulation will vary based on engine condition and driving style. Radium recommends checking the integrated dipstick after 3–4 weeks of normal use and adjusting your service interval from there.

The catch can can be emptied by unscrewing and removing the lower reservoir. Where space allows, an optional petcock drain kit can be fitted for easier draining. Excessive oil collection may indicate underlying engine issues such as excessive blow-by, overfilled oil, poor OEM baffling, or a PCV valve/orifice problem.

Compatibility

This kit is designed for the following Gen IV LS engines:

  • GM LS2
  • GM LS3
  • GM LS7

For Gen III LS1/LS6 engines, use Radium kit 20-0260-FL instead.

Check available clearance around the mounting location, especially on engines with additional belt-driven accessories or aftermarket superchargers.
