The Radium Engineering Fluid Lock catch can kit (SKU 20-0825-FL) runs inline on the crankcase vent (CCV) side of the K20C1 engine in the Honda Civic Type R FK8 and FL5. Under high load the CCV circuit sees vacuum and draws oil mist, unburnt fuel and sludge into the intake; the catch can traps it before it coats the turbo inlet and intercooler and erodes performance.

The can mounts to the right-hand engine mount with the included bracket and sits under the OEM engine cover without trimming. Rigid metal tubes with billet clamps keep the routing neat, and the closed-loop design returns clean air to the engine rather than venting to atmosphere. It works independently of the PCV side, so it can be run alone or with the matching PCV kit.

Note: The bracket may need modification if an aftermarket engine mount is fitted. Check the level with the dipstick after 3–4 weeks of driving to set an emptying interval; excessive oil collection can indicate an engine issue. No cutting, drilling or permanent modifications are required. Installation by a professional is recommended.
