The Suzuki Hayabusa is one of the most modified motorcycle engines in the world — and it is not just motorcycles. The Hayabusa engine is widely used in lightweight car builds, kit cars, and drag racing applications across Australia where its compact size, high-revving nature, and enormous power potential per litre make it an ideal powerplant. Whether you are building a turbocharged Hayabusa motorcycle for drag racing or swapping the engine into a lightweight chassis, Injector Dynamics offers precisely characterised, dynamically matched fuel injectors with direct plug-and-play fitment.

Suzuki Hayabusa Gen 1 — GSX1300R (1999-2007)
The Gen 1 Hayabusa's 1.3-litre inline four is the foundation of some of the fastest drag bikes and lightweight car builds in Australia. Turbocharged Gen 1 Hayabusa engines regularly exceed 400kW — extraordinary output from a 1,300cc engine — and the factory injectors are completely inadequate at these power levels.
A set of four Injector Dynamics ID1050x injectors supports approximately 320 to 440kW at the crank on petrol at 80% duty cycle. On E85, four ID1050x injectors cover up to approximately 220 to 320kW. For builds pushing beyond 300kW on E85 or running methanol, the ID1300x and ID1750x provide the flow needed to maintain safe duty cycles at extreme power levels.

Suzuki Hayabusa Gen 2 — 8 Injector Setup
The Gen 2 Hayabusa uses a staged eight-injector system — four primary and four secondary injectors. This configuration allows for finer fuel control across the rev range and is commonly retained in high-power builds for improved low-RPM drivability alongside high-RPM fuel capacity.
A set of eight ID1050x injectors in the staged setup provides massive fuel delivery capability — with eight injectors sharing the duty, each individual injector operates at lower duty cycles, which improves atomisation, idle quality, and transient response even at very high power levels. For extreme drag builds on E85 or methanol, the ID1300x and ID1750x are available in the eight-injector configuration.

Why Injector Dynamics for Hayabusa?
High-revving motorcycle engines like the Hayabusa spend more time at short pulse widths than most automotive engines — the injector is opening and closing at extremely high frequencies, which makes accurate dead time compensation and low pulse width linearity critical. Injector Dynamics' complete characterisation data ensures your tuner can calibrate the ECU for precise fuelling at every RPM point from idle through to the rev limiter.
Every set ships with dynamic slope flow rates, dead time values across voltage and pressure ranges, and dynamic flow matching. This data is compatible with all major ECU platforms including Haltech, MoTeC, Link, and Woolich Racing. All ID injectors are fully compatible with petrol, E85, E100, and methanol.
Read our fuel injector sizing guide for detailed power range calculations, or our injector characterisation data guide to understand why ID's data matters — especially on high-revving engines where pulse width accuracy is everything.
