Injector Dynamics Fuel Injectors for Mitsubishi

Injector Dynamics Fuel Injectors for Mitsubishi

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is one of the most iconic turbocharged platforms in Australian motorsport — from the 4G63-powered Evo III through IX to the 4B11T in the Evo X. Combined with the Galant VR4 and the twin-turbo 3000GT VR4, Mitsubishi's performance lineup demands serious fuel delivery for serious power. Injector Dynamics offers precisely characterised, dynamically matched fuel injectors with direct plug-and-play fitment for every major Mitsubishi performance platform.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution III - IX — 4G63

The 4G63 is one of the most built four-cylinder turbo engines in the world. Australian Evo owners push these engines hard — from 300kW street cars to 600kW+ drag builds — and the factory injectors are among the first components to hit their limit. E85 is the fuel of choice for the majority of high-power 4G63 builds, which increases fuel demand by 30 to 40% over petrol.

The Injector Dynamics ID1300x is available as the starting point for the Evo III-IX platform. A set of four ID1300x injectors supports approximately 400 to 540kW at the crank on petrol at 80% duty cycle. On E85, four ID1300x injectors cover up to approximately 280 to 400kW — handling the majority of serious street and track Evo builds.

For high-boost E85 and methanol builds pushing beyond 400kW, the ID1750x provides the flow needed to maintain safe duty cycles. A set of four ID1750x injectors supports approximately 520 to 700kW on petrol and approximately 360 to 520kW on E85. For extreme drag applications, the ID2600x is available.

Select "Evo III - IX" when ordering.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X — 4B11T

The Evo X's 4B11T is a modern MIVEC turbocharged engine with strong tuning potential. E85 conversions and big-turbo builds are common on the Evo X platform, and the factory injectors cannot support the fuel demand at elevated power levels.

A set of four ID1300x injectors comfortably supports most Evo X builds on petrol and E85. For higher-power builds, the ID1750x and ID2600x provide additional headroom. Select "Evo X" when ordering.

Mitsubishi Galant VR4 — 4G63

The Galant VR4 shares the legendary 4G63 engine with the Lancer Evolution and has a dedicated following in Australian drag racing and street performance. The same injector sizing and recommendations apply as for the Evo III-IX — the 4G63 is the same engine regardless of the chassis it sits in. Select "Galant VR4" when ordering.

Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 — 6G72TT

The twin-turbo 3.0-litre V6 in the 3000GT VR4 is a complex but capable engine that rewards fuel system upgrades. With six cylinders and twin turbochargers, fuel demand is significant — particularly on E85 where the increased flow requirement is spread across six injectors.

A set of six ID1300x injectors on the 6G72TT supports approximately 600 to 810kW at the crank on petrol — well beyond what most 3000GT builds will reach. On E85, six ID1300x injectors cover up to approximately 420 to 600kW. Select "3000GT VR4" when ordering.

Why Injector Dynamics for Mitsubishi?

Every set of Injector Dynamics injectors ships with complete characterisation data — dynamic slope flow rates, dead time values across voltage and pressure ranges, and dynamic flow matching at multiple pulse widths. This data is compatible with all major ECU platforms used in the Mitsubishi tuning community including Haltech, MoTeC, Link, AEM, and ECUFlash/EvoScan for factory ECU tuning. Your tuner loads the data directly into the ECU for accurate fuelling from the first start-up.

All ID injectors are fully compatible with petrol, E85, E100, and methanol. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel internals are designed for extended service with aggressive fuels — essential for the Evo community where E85 is the standard for any serious build.

Read our fuel injector sizing guide for detailed power range calculations, or our injector characterisation data guide to understand why ID's data makes a measurable difference to tuning quality.
