Injector Dynamics Fuel Injectors for Mazda
We fit Injector Dynamics injectors into rotary and piston Mazdas all the time, from street-driven FDs around Sydney to bridgeported time attack cars at The Bend. Rotary engines are unforgiving of poor fuelling, and the 13B's high BSFC combined with staged injection makes correct sizing and O-ring configuration critical. We stock ID1050x through to ID2600x, with the correct 11mm and 14mm O-ring variants for every RX-7 generation, secondaries for the RX-8's Renesis, and full sets for turbo MX-5 builds.

ID1050x fuel injectors, entry point for most turbocharged 13B and MX-5 builds on petrol or E85
- ID1300x, ID1750x and ID2600x for high-boost single-turbo FD, bridgeport, and drag/time attack builds, including methanol applications
- RX-8 secondary injector sets for forced induction Renesis conversions
Why Injector Dynamics
Every set ships with full characterisation data: dynamic slope flow rates, dead time across voltage and pressure, and flow matching at multiple pulse widths. That data loads straight into Haltech, Link, MoTeC, AEM Infinity and Microtech, which covers most ECUs we see on tuned Mazdas. On a rotary this matters more than on most engines. The non-traditional combustion cycle amplifies any dead time error, and a lean 13B doesn't give you much warning before it lets go. All ID injectors handle petrol, E85, E100 and methanol, with stainless internals built for aggressive fuels over the long term.
Fitment & Installation
RX-7 fitments are split by year and by O-ring size (11mm or 14mm) to match the fuel rail and intake manifold on your specific FC or FD. Get this wrong and injectors simply won't seat properly, so check your factory rail before ordering. The FD's staged system means most street and moderate track builds only need primary injectors upgraded; secondaries are covered separately. RX-8 fitment is secondaries-only, listed as "RX-8 03-11 (Secondaries Only)". MX-5 covers NA/NB (90-05) and NC (06-14) as a straightforward four-injector set. If you're not sure which O-ring configuration or size suits your build and power target, contact us before ordering.

FAQ
Will these fit my exact RX-7 year and model?
Injector Dynamics covers RX-7 79-84, 85-86, 87-92 FC, and 93-95 FD, each in 11mm and 14mm O-ring options. Confirm your O-ring size against your existing fuel rail before ordering.
Do I need primaries, secondaries, or both for my FD?
The FD's staged injection system runs primary and secondary injectors. Most street and moderate track builds only need the primaries upgraded. Bigger single-turbo or bridgeport builds may need both sized up. Contact us if you're unsure.
What does the RX-8 fitment include?
It's secondaries only, matching the Renesis engine's staged injection layout. Select the "RX-8 03-11 (Secondaries Only)" variant.
How much power can an ID1050x support in an MX-5?
Roughly 320 to 440kW at the crank on petrol, or 220 to 320kW on E85, which covers the vast majority of turbo and supercharged MX-5 builds.
What's the warranty and shipping to Australia?
