Injector Dynamics XDS Fuel Injectors - Mazda RX-7 (FB/FC/FD) - 11mm Rail - 60mm Set of 2

A flow-matched set of 2 Injector Dynamics XDS injectors for the Mazda RX-7 with 11mm rails. Each injector has a 60mm body and an 11mm top o-ring to suit the 11mm fuel rail bore, with the application-specific fitment kit Injector Dynamics specifies for this engine. The injectors are built to Injector Dynamics' specification in partnership with Bosch Motorsport, use the USCAR electrical connector, and are offered in four flow rates so you can match the set to your power target and fuel.

What sets Injector Dynamics apart is the data. Every set is matched on both flow rate and offset (dead time), not just static flow, so each cylinder gets the same amount of fuel at idle and cruise as well as at full load. Injector Dynamics also publishes full characterisation data for every injector: offset from 8 to 16 volts and flow slope from 40 to 100 psi of differential pressure. Your tuner enters the real numbers instead of guessing, which is what lets a large injector still idle, cruise and start cleanly.

Choosing a Flow Rate

Option Nominal flow Max fuel pressure Fuel compatibility
ID1050x 1065cc/min 10.0 bar (145 psi) All known fuels
ID1300x² 1335cc/min 7.0 bar (101.5 psi) All known fuels (designed for alternative fuels)
ID1750x 1728cc/min 7.0 bar (101.5 psi) Methanol, ethanol, MTBE, nitromethane and all hydrocarbon fuels
ID2600-XDS 2600cc/min 9.0 bar (130.5 psi), minimum 11 volts Methanol, ethanol and all hydrocarbon fuels. Not compatible with ethers (MTBE, ETBE, TAME) or nitromethane
  • ID1050x (ID1050-XDS): 1065cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi) on petrol at 52°C. The evolution of the ID1000. Corrosion-resistant internals, an improved internal flow path and a stronger magnetic circuit for stable operation up to 10 bar.
  • ID1300x² (ID1300-XDS): 1335cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi) on iso-octane at 52°C. Designed with ethanol in mind, with all-stainless internals, but with a minimum fuel mass that still gives a good idle and cruise if you go back to petrol.
  • ID1750x (ID1750-XDS): 1728cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi) on E10 at 49°C. The successor to the ID1700. More flow with no increase in minimum fuel mass, better cylinder-to-cylinder balance at small pulse widths and improved pressure sensitivity.
  • ID2600-XDS: 2600cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi). The highest-flowing injector Bosch makes, 50% more than the ID1700x. Sets are Dual Slope Matched, which ID says cuts the average low pulse-width deviation from ±5.1% to ±1.4%.

Nominal flow is measured at 3 bar (43.5 psi). Real flow goes up with fuel pressure: on a rising-rate system under boost the injector flows more than its rating, so check the maximum pressure above against your base pressure plus boost. If you are unsure which size suits your build, send us your engine, power goal, fuel and fuel pump and we will help.

The full list of cars this set suits is in the Vehicle Fitment tab. Engine swaps, aftermarket fuel rails and modified engines can change what fits, so if your car is not listed or has been modified, contact us before ordering.

Before You Order

  • Check your fuel rail bore. This set suits 11mm rails. Several engines (Skyline GT-R, Supra, Silvia, MR2, RX-7) came with either 11mm or 14mm rails, and aftermarket rails vary, so measure or check your rail before ordering.
  • A tune is required. Bigger injectors must be set up in the ECU using the Injector Dynamics data. ID publishes ready-to-use data for common platforms including MoTeC M1, Haltech, AEM, Holley, MegaSquirt, Cobb and EcuTek, plus OEM-style GM and Ford tables. Some factory ECUs cannot scale to very large injectors.
  • Connector. The injectors use a USCAR connector. Older cars with a different plug need adaptors or harness changes.
  • Fuel supply and filtration. Size the fuel pump to suit the injectors. Injector Dynamics follows the Bosch specification for injector protection (at least 87% capture at 5 microns and 100% at 35 microns), fitted after the pump and as close to the rail as practical. The ID F750 and ID F1250 filters are built to that standard.

Note: Injectors must be installed with a matching tune. Installation by a professional is recommended.

How to Measure an Injector

Injector sizing isn’t just about flow rate — physical dimensions matter too. Each Injector Dynamics part number includes length and O-ring sizing so you can ensure a proper fit.

Take the example 60.11.14:

  • Overall length in mm (from O-ring to O-ring) = 60.1mm
  • Top O-ring diameter (in mm) = 11mm
  • Bottom O-ring diameter (in mm) = 14mm

What makes Injector Dynamics better than other aftermarket injectors?

Injector Dynamics is the only injector supplier to provide full dynamic flow data and latency values across voltage and pressure ranges. This data is essential for precise ECU tuning — something generic injectors simply can’t offer.

Yes. Every set is flow-matched not just statically, but dynamically — meaning flow characteristics are tested under real-world operating conditions. This ensures even fuel delivery across all cylinders and better performance.

Proper injector characterisation allows tuners to precisely control fuelling across all load conditions. This means better idle, drivability, fuel economy, and peak performance — especially with modern ECUs that rely heavily on accurate fuel modelling.

Most ID injectors are available in multiple body lengths, connector types, and O-ring configurations to ensure direct fitment for a wide range of vehicles. No modifications are needed when the correct spec is chosen.

Yes. All ID injectors are compatible with ethanol-based fuels, including E85. They’re built using corrosion-resistant internals and tested extensively with aggressive fuels to guarantee reliability and performance.

Injector Dynamics is trusted by professional race teams, top tuners, and OEM-level motorsport programs around the world. From time attack builds to 1000+hp street cars, they’re the go-to choice when reliability and data accuracy matter.

Every ID injector set includes full documentation, tuning data, and connector details. This makes it easier for your tuner to dial in your setup without guesswork or trial-and-error tuning.
