Ford Mustang GT (S550) 2015–2023 Performance Parts & Upgrades
The S550 Ford Mustang (FM and FN) was the first Mustang built in right-hand drive for Australia, sold from 2015 to 2023 as a fastback and convertible. Buyers could choose the 5.0L Coyote V8 in the GT or the 2.3L EcoBoost turbo four, both driving the rear wheels. The FN facelift arrived in 2018. Choosing the Right Part
- GT or EcoBoost: the V8 and 2.3L turbo models need different intake, engine, fuel and exhaust parts. Check the engine in the title.
- FM or FN: the 2018 facelift (FN) brought the Gen 3 Coyote. Camshafts, valve parts and some intakes are made for Gen 1/2 or Gen 3 only, and some aero suits one bumper only.
- Fastback or convertible: exhaust and chassis bracing parts can differ between body styles.
Installation
Have a qualified workshop fit suspension, brake, fuel and engine parts. Get a wheel alignment after any suspension change and bleed and road-test the brakes after brake work. Camshaft, fuel and intake upgrades usually need a tune to suit; ask us if you're unsure.
