Once a car is lowered, factory control arm geometry often runs out of adjustment, and alignment alone can't correct it. SPL arms build the correction into the part, and the Double Adjuster allows camber or toe changes without removing the arm. Spherical bearings eliminate bushing deflection under cornering load, with some added road noise compared with rubber as the trade-off.

Fitment is chassis specific, so check the exact arm against your chassis code before ordering. BMW parts differ between F80/F82 and G80/G82/G83, and between E8X/E9X and F3X. Toyota/Subaru links differ between ZN6/ZC6 and ZN8/ZD8. Nissan tension rods are listed separately for S13, S14, R32, R33/R34 and GT-R (R32/R33), and offset versions alter caster and wheel position compared with the standard rods. Mazda MX-5 tie rod ends are split by generation and by manual or power steering rack, so confirm which rack your car uses. On BMW M3/M4, the front lower control arms are for RWD variants.

Installation by a professional is recommended, followed by a wheel alignment. Where SPL supplies titanium hardware, it is anodised from the factory and SPL specifies it does not need thread lock; torque to SPL's specification rather than OEM figures, as the spherical bearing carries load differently to a rubber bush. The SPL adjustment wrench suits on-car adjustment of Double Adjuster arms. Re-check alignment after the first few heat cycles as bearings bed in.
