i30N Hatch & Fastback (PD / PDe) — Intake Options

Three intakes fit the i30N hatch and fastback, so you can pick by style and maintenance preference:

Open-element, oiled filter — the Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Pro 5R. An open XLPE housing with a five-layer oiled Pro 5R cotton-gauze filter for maximum flow and the most aggressive induction sound. Rated up to +11 hp / +10 lb-ft.

Open-element, oil-free filter — the Takeda Stage-2 Pro DRY S. Same open, aggressive-sounding design with the low-maintenance, oil-free Pro DRY S filter — the easy-care choice and well suited to dusty Australian conditions.

Sealed housing — the Takeda Momentum Pro DRY S. A one-piece sealed housing that shields the filter from engine heat for the coolest intake charge and a cleaner, factory-plus look under the bonnet.

i30 Sedan N (CN7) — Intake Options

For the CN7 sedan, choose between the open-element Takeda Stage-2 Pro DRY S for more induction sound, or the sealed Takeda Momentum Pro DRY S for cooler charge temps and a refined finish. Both use the oil-free Pro DRY S filter and bolt straight in.

Turbo Inlets — Get the Right One

An aFe turbo inlet removes the restriction in the factory inlet between the intake tube and the turbo. There are two versions, and the correct one depends on your intake:

• Running the factory airbox? Use the Takeda Turbo Inlet 59-20001 — designed to fit with the standard factory air intake (i30N PDe / Kona N).
• Running a Takeda intake? Use the Takeda Turbo Inlet 59-20002 — matched to aFe's Takeda intake systems (i30N PDe / i30 Sedan CN7 / Kona N).

Kona N — Charge Pipe & Inlet

For the Kona N, the BladeRunner aluminium hot-side charge pipe (2-1/4" to 2-1/2", black) replaces the restrictive factory hot-side pipe between the turbo and intercooler for smoother, higher-volume flow. Pair it with the appropriate turbo inlet above for a complete Kona N induction upgrade.

Fitment

This collection covers the Hyundai i30N hatch & fastback (PD / PDe, 2017+), the i30 Sedan N (CN7, 2021+), and the Kona N (OS) — all running the 2.0-litre turbo four. The i30N and Kona N share much of their induction architecture; the Veloster N uses the same engine too, and aFe offers a kit for it — contact us if you'd like that added or fitment confirmed for your exact car.

Installation

The intakes are direct bolt-ons using factory mounting points — no cutting, no tune, and most install in around 20 minutes with the included stainless clamps, silicone couplers and billet fittings. The turbo inlets and charge pipe are straightforward additions to the intake tract. A clear sight window on the sealed Momentum housings lets you check the filter without disassembly.
