aFe Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake - Hyundai i30 Sedan N (CN7) - 2.0L Turbo

The aFe Takeda Momentum replaces the factory air box on the Hyundai i30 Sedan N (CN7, sold overseas as the Elantra N) with the 2.0L turbo four. A one-piece sealed housing in heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) draws cool air from behind the front grille, with a clear window for filter checks and an auxiliary inlet that can be closed with the supplied plug.

Installing the aFe Takeda Momentum intake on the Hyundai Elantra N (i30 Sedan N) 2.0L turbo

A 6in tall 360-degree radial filter with a 4.5in flange feeds an oversized, import-styled XLPE tube. aFe's dyno testing shows up to +6 kW (+8 hp) and +16 Nm and 18% more airflow with Pro DRY S, or +5.2 kW (+7 hp) / +18 Nm and 20% more flow with Pro 5R. aFe quotes about 20 minutes to fit.

Options: Pro DRY S (56-70057D) or Pro 5R (56-70057R) filter. Pro DRY S is a dry, oil-free three-layer synthetic media that washes with soap and water. Pro 5R is aFe's oiled media, five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze, and usually gives the most airflow.

Note: Suits the i30 Sedan N (CN7) 2.0L turbo, not the 1.6L turbo N Line. Installation by a professional is recommended.
