This Radium Engineering fuel pump hanger is a drop-in replacement for the OEM in-tank fuel pump module in 2011-on Ford Mustangs (S197, S550 and S650), including the listed Shelby models. It runs one or two aftermarket fuel pumps and is safe for E85 and other alternative fuels. The OEM fuel tank access cover and rear seat fit without modification, and the OEM fuel level sender transfers across so full gauge function is retained.

A collector box keeps fuel trapped around the pump(s). It is fed by a redesigned, non-restrictive venturi jet pump, return fuel from the integrated regulator, and two one-way fill valves in the base of the collector. The built-in adjustable fuel pressure regulator gives a single feed line that dead-heads at the rail, like the OE system. It is vacuum-referenced for 1:1 rising-rate operation on boosted engines, or it can be left open to atmosphere for constant pressure. The 8AN ORB outlet comes with two low-profile SAE quick-connect fittings, one for the S197 feed line and one for the S550/S650. Three versions suit different pumps: 20-1800, 20-1801 and 20-1802.

Note: This hanger is sold without pumps, and pumps are installed by the end user or installer. It removes the in-tank low-micron filter, so an external low-micron fuel filter must be fitted. If you use the built-in regulator, it must be the only regulator in the fuel system. To run an external engine-bay regulator with a return line, the 20-0806 FPR block-off kit must be used (sold separately) along with a 6AN ORB return fitting, which must be low profile if the rear seat is retained. Depending on fuel pressure, the venturi jet pump uses 15–45 LPH from the feed line, so allow for this when sizing pumps. The factory pump wiring (15–30 A depending on model) can be reused for a single pump only; upgraded wiring is recommended, with one kit per pump. On 20-1802, the Walbro F90000295, Bosch BR540 and DW810 have no integrated check valve, so two of these pumps cannot be staged. Radium notes this is not a guaranteed fuel starvation solution; a surge tank may be needed for full redundancy. Installation by a professional is recommended.
