SKU 415003. The Full-Cast stainless-steel exhaust manifold set is the Tomei Japan product the RB26 is best known for. Cast construction provides thermal stability that welded tubular manifolds cannot match, which matters on a twin-turbo engine running sustained high exhaust gas temperatures through extended boost cycles. Runner geometry is optimised for the RB26's firing order and flow characteristics. Fits BNR32, BCNR33 and BNR34.

Fitment is strictly chassis-specific. The Full-Cast RB26 manifold and the Ti SPORTS and Ti RACING mufflers are RB26-specific and do not cross-fit RB25 or R35. Confirm the exact Tomei part number before ordering.

Genuine Tomei Japan — Not Tomei USA

Two companies sell exhausts under the "Tomei" name globally. Tomei Powered Inc. (Japan) is the original, founded in 1968 in Machida, Tokyo by former Nissan works driver Seiichi Suzuki, and developed the Full-Cast RB26 manifold along with the Ti SPORTS and Ti RACING titanium mufflers. Tomei Powered USA was originally Tomei Japan's North American subsidiary, established in 2006, split off as a separate company in 2014 and fully independent since February 2019. Tomei Japan has publicly stated that Tomei USA products are not designed, supervised, tested, manufactured or quality-checked by them, and Tomei USA part numbers typically start with "T".

Installation by a qualified professional workshop is recommended. Exhaust manifolds, turbo outlets, front pipes and mufflers all sit in high-heat areas and require correct gaskets, fasteners and torque procedure, and on RB26 builds the manifold job involves significant disassembly around the turbochargers.

• Penetrating fluid and time on aged fasteners — most R32, R33 and R34 GT-Rs are now decades old.

Road Legality & ADR Notes

Ti SPORTS mufflers are the JASMA-certified, street-friendly option and are generally the more liveable choice for road-registered GT-Rs. Ti RACING mufflers are race-derived and are not guaranteed to meet Australian noise regulations in every state. NSW, VIC, QLD and WA each apply different dB limits and vehicle-age thresholds, so get in touch before ordering if state noise testing or ADR compliance is a priority.

Tomei Japan only. Every Tomei GT-R product sold by Chicane Australia is genuine TOMEI POWERED INC. stock with a numeric Machida-issued part number. Tomei USA part numbers typically start with "T".

Will an R34 muffler fit my R32 or R33 GT-R?

No. The Ti SPORTS and Ti RACING mufflers are tuned per generation, so BNR32, BCNR33 and BNR34 each have their own part number. The Ti RACING front pipe (431006) and Full-Cast RB26 turbo outlet (421001) do cross-fit all three chassis.

Which Tomei parts suit an R35 GT-R?

Only the Ti RACING Titanium Muffler, SKU 441007, which is built for the VR38DETT R35 platform. R32, R33 and R34 products do not cross-fit the R35.

Are Tomei mufflers road legal in Australia?
