Tomei Powered Japan for the Z33 & Z34 Platform

The 350Z (Z33) and 370Z (Z34) brought Nissan's VQ V6 into the performance mainstream, and Tomei Powered Japan developed the Ti RACING titanium muffler line specifically for the platform. Unlike the turbo RB and SR platforms the brand is better known for, the Z-car exhaust development is about extracting top-end response and sound from a naturally-aspirated V6 — the design brief is different, and so is the product. Every Ti RACING system is engineered, tested and manufactured at Tomei Powered's Machida, Tokyo facility — on the same 800HP engine dyno, 600HP engine dyno and Dyno Dynamics 4WD chassis dynamometer used for their race engine development.

Ti RACING Titanium Muffler — Nissan 350Z (Z33)

SKU 441004. Race-bred full titanium muffler developed specifically for the Z33. Straight-as-possible pipe layout for maximum exhaust efficiency, burnt-titanium gradient finish, clamp-band connections for reduced weight. On the VQ35DE/VQ35HR, the Ti RACING is famous for its race-car tone — a hard, aggressive exhaust note that suits the high-revving nature of the engine. A legitimate Tomei Japan benchmark product for the Z33 platform.

Ti RACING Titanium Muffler — Nissan 370Z (Z34)

SKU 441005. The Z34-specific Ti RACING muffler. Same full titanium construction and race-spec layout as the Z33 version, but with fitment and piping tuned for the Z34 chassis and the VQ37VHR's exhaust gas characteristics. Ti RACING weight savings with the aggressive Tomei Japan race tone.

Ti RACING Titanium Mid Y-Pipe — Z33 & Z34

SKU 431008. Full titanium mid Y-pipe engineered to bridge the factory or aftermarket front pipes to the Ti RACING muffler. Cross-fits both Z33 (VQ35DE/VQ35HR) and Z34 (VQ37VHR). Pairs with the matching Ti RACING muffler to form a complete Tomei Japan titanium exhaust system from Y-pipe back.

EXPREME Exhaust Manifold Ver.2 — 350Z (Z33)

SKU 415001. Tomei's stainless EXPREME manifold for the VQ35DE. Version 2 revision with optimised runner geometry and fabrication improvements over the original. Direct bolt-on replacement for the factory Z33 exhaust manifold. No Z34 equivalent in the current catalogue — the VQ37VHR uses a different manifold architecture.

Chassis Fitment

• Nissan 370Z (Z34) — 2009–2020 — VQ37VHR

Genuine Tomei Japan — Not Tomei USA

There are two companies selling exhausts under the "Tomei" name globally. Tomei Powered Inc. (Japan) is the original, founded in 1968 in Machida, Tokyo — they developed the Ti RACING range and still build every genuine product. Tomei Powered USA was originally Tomei Japan's North American subsidiary, established in 2006, split off as a separate company in 2014, and fully independent since February 2019. Tomei Japan has publicly stated that Tomei USA products are not designed, supervised, tested, manufactured or quality-checked by them — Tomei USA part numbers typically start with "T". Every Tomei 350Z and 370Z product at Chicane Australia is genuine Tomei Japan stock with numeric Machida-issued part numbers.

Road Legality & ADR Notes

Ti RACING mufflers are developed for track use and are not guaranteed to meet Australian noise regulations in every state. NSW, VIC, QLD and WA all have different dB limits and vehicle-age rules. If state noise-testing is a priority for your Z, get in touch before ordering and we'll recommend the right fit. The Ti RACING Mid Y-Pipe is not a decat — it sits between the factory front pipes (with cats) and the cat-back section.
