CSF is one of the cooling brands we reach for first when a car is running hotter than it should, whether that is a daily driven Golf R in Sydney traffic or a Supra A90 doing full track days at The Bend. We stock their radiators, intercoolers and oil coolers for the platforms Australian enthusiasts actually modify. Every part listed here is something we have fitted or sourced for real customer builds, not a generic catalogue dump.

Radiators: all-aluminium, TIG-welded replacement and upgrade radiators using CSF's B-Tube core design, built for platforms like the Supra A90 and BMW G8x where factory plastic end tanks are a known failure point under sustained track use.
Charge-air coolers / intercoolers: front-mount and upgraded core intercoolers aimed at turbocharged platforms such as Golf R/GTI and Civic Type R FL5, where IAT creep is a common complaint after repeated hot laps or hard pulls.
Oil and transmission coolers: direct-fit and universal coolers for engine oil, transmission and power steering circuits, commonly added to BMW G8x and Supra A90 builds running higher power or regular circuit work.
Combo units: integrated radiator and oil cooler or manifold combinations for European platforms where engine bay space is tight.
Why CSF
CSF's B-Tube design uses a single-piece aluminium tube shaped like a "B" instead of the traditional oval tube. CSF says the flatter, wider tube profile increases surface area for heat transfer compared to a standard oval tube, while keeping the core strong enough for TIG-welded aluminium end tanks instead of the plastic tanks fitted from factory. Plastic end tanks are a common long-term failure point on cars used for track days, which is one of the main reasons we point customers running regular circuit sessions towards a CSF replacement rather than a like-for-like factory unit.
We are based on the Central Coast, NSW, and see a lot of G8x BMWs and Supra A90s come through for cooling upgrades ahead of track season. Heat soak and coolant temperature creep are the two issues that come up most, and CSF's range is built specifically to address both.
Fitment & Installation
Most CSF radiators are designed to use factory mounting points, fan shrouds and hose connections, so on most applications the install is straightforward without cutting or fabrication. That said, always confirm the exact CSF part number against your vehicle's build date and options, particularly on platforms like Golf R/GTI and Audi S3 where cooling system parts can differ between model years and engine codes. If you are running an intercooler upgrade alongside a tune, check charge pipe and coolant hose routing against your existing setup before ordering, as some combinations need additional fittings not included in the box.

FAQWhat does the CSF B-Tube design actually do?
It replaces the standard oval tube with a single-piece aluminium tube shaped like a "B". The flatter profile gives more surface area for heat transfer than a standard tube of the same size, while still supporting a fully TIG-welded aluminium core.
Will a CSF radiator bolt straight into my car?
On most applications, yes. CSF engineers their radiators to use factory mounting points and hose connections. We still recommend checking your exact model year and engine code against the CSF part number before ordering, since some platforms have running changes.
Do I need a CSF intercooler if I am not running big boost?
Not always. If your car is stock or mildly tuned and you are not seeing heat soak on track or in traffic, a factory intercooler may still be doing its job. CSF upgrades make the most sense once you are adding power, doing regular track days, or already noticing IAT climb on a data logger.
