The Alcon CAR89 caliper platform includes both the TA6+ and full-spec CAR89 calipers — each tailored for different performance demands. The TA6+ is ideal for aggressive street and track day use, offering a perfect balance of road comfort and circuit readiness. In contrast, the CAR89 is a full motorsport-grade caliper, purpose-built for dedicated track use in high-load environments such as GT racing, time attack, and endurance competition.

Both variants feature forged aerospace-grade aluminium construction, radial mounting, and a staggered piston layout for consistent pad pressure and thermal control under demanding conditions.
