PRL Motorsports x PTP Black Lava Turbo Blanket - Honda Civic Type R (FK8 / FL5)

This PTP Black Lava turbo blanket, made with PRL Motorsports for the Civic Type R, wraps the turbine housing to keep exhaust heat in the turbo and out of the engine bay. Holding the heat in improves turbo efficiency and response, lowers intake temperatures and protects nearby parts, with up to 60% less under-bonnet heat. The outer layer is woven from volcanic lava rock fibre over calcium magnesium silicate insulation and a stainless steel mesh, and each blanket is hand-made in North America.

Note: Suits the factory turbocharger on the FK8 and FL5 Civic Type R. Fit with the engine cold. Installation by a professional is recommended.
