ACL Race Series Rod Bearings - Volkswagen Golf GTI / R (Mk7 / Mk7.5) / Audi S3 (8V) - 2.0 TSI
The ACL Race Series 4B5562H is a conrod (big-end) bearing set for the Volkswagen and Audi EA888 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI / TFSI four-cylinder, covering all four rods. ACL's Race Series trimetal bearings are built for boosted, high-rpm engines, with a stronger overlay, hardened steel backs and tight wall tolerances for consistent oil clearances. Choose Standard, 0.025mm or 0.25mm undersize for a reground crank, or the HX set for 0.025mm extra oil clearance.
Note: Suits the EA888 1.8 / 2.0 TSI four-cylinder (Gen 1 to Gen 4), including the Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk6, Mk7, Mk7.5, Mk8), Golf R (Mk7, Mk7.5), Audi S3 (8V), A3 1.8 / 2.0 TFSI (8P 2008 on, 8V), TT (8J, 8S), TTS (8S), Skoda Octavia RS, Passat and Tiguan. Not for the EA113 engine (Golf GTI Mk5, Golf R Mk6, S3 8P, TTS 8J). The Golf R Mk8 and Audi S3 8Y (DNF engine) aren't on ACL's list yet, so contact us before ordering for those. Check your engine code against the list in the specs. Installation by a professional engine builder is recommended.
Audi RS3 / TT RS 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder: you need both part numbers: this 4B5562H set for four cylinders plus one ACL Race Series Rod Bearing Pair - Audi RS3 (8V / 8Y) / TT RS (8S) - Single Cylinder (1B5562H) for the fifth cylinder, in the same size.
