HKS parts are released against specific chassis codes and engine codes, so confirm these before ordering:

• Chassis codes: Honda Civic Type R FL5 and FK8 use different exhaust, intercooler and cooling hardware, so check which generation code appears in the product title. Subaru applications are listed by GDB, GRB, VAB, BL or BP; Toyota GR Yaris parts are listed as GXPA16, with some Super Turbo mufflers specified for 2024+ build years.
• Engine codes: Subaru timing belts are listed for EJ20/EJ25, blow-off valve kits for the FA20 WRX (2015-2021), oil cooler kits for the FA20 and FA24 boxer engines, and Mitsubishi cooling kits for the 4G63.
• Gearbox and version: Carbon and carbon fibre shift knobs are listed by thread and gearbox type, such as the 47 mm knob for six-speed manual Subaru models. Nissan GT-R R35 DCT fluid trans cooler kits are offered in Version 0 and Version 1, so check which suits your car.
• Thread and heat range: Oil filters are M20x1.5, and Super Fire Racing spark plugs are supplied here in heat range #9.

Installation by a qualified professional workshop is strongly recommended for all HKS components. Exhaust systems, intercooler and piping kits, oil cooler kits and coilovers require vehicle hoisting, torque-to-spec fastening and, in some cases, draining and refilling of oil or coolant.

Typical requirements include new gaskets and hardware where supplied, a torque wrench, spring compressors or an alignment after suspension work, and fresh fluids after fitting any oil, differential or transmission cooler kit. Electronic tuning products such as the Power Editor should be installed and configured according to the HKS instructions supplied with the product.

HKS exhausts and the FK8 downpipe are for off-road or motorsport use. Check your state's noise and emissions rules before fitting to a registered car.
