Nitto V2 I-Beam Connecting Rods - Toyota 2JZ-GTE - Supra (JZA80) / Aristo (JZS147 / JZS161)
The Nitto V2 is the flagship steel connecting rod for the Toyota 2JZ-GTE in the JZA80 Supra and Aristo. It is built for the biggest drag and time attack engines, where a standard I-beam is no longer enough.
Choose the length to suit your crankshaft: 142 mm for the factory stroke, 144 mm for Nitto's 90 mm stroke crank with Honda-size rod journals (this rod uses the Honda big-end size and suits that crank only), or 145 mm for Nitto's 92 mm stroke crank. All use 7/16" ARP 2000 bolts.
The V2 is Nitto's top steel connecting rod. Compared with the standard I-beam, the beam pocket is revised to put more material where it matters, the beam sides and pin end are profiled rather than straight cut, and the pin end runs a CHE bush instead of silicone bronze. Nitto reports V2 rods exceeding 2000 hp in 2JZ, RB30 and Barra engines.
Note: Installation by a professional is recommended. Engine internals must be measured and set up by a qualified engine builder.
