Porsche 911 GT2 RS (997.2) 2010–2011 Performance Parts & Upgrades
The 997.2 GT2 RS was sold new in Australia from 2010 to 2011. Unlike the all-wheel drive Turbo, it sends the power of its 3.6L twin-turbo Mezger flat six to the rear wheels only, through a six-speed manual. Popular upgrades for the GT2 RS
- Coilovers: Öhlins R&T, MOTON and AST kits for the 997 GT2, GT2 RS, GT3 and GT3 RS.

Choosing the Right Part
- GT2 RS or Turbo: the GT2 RS is rear-drive, so all-wheel drive Turbo parts such as front diffs and Turbo coilovers won't suit it.

- Track set-up: adjustable arms and lockout kits let you set and hold camber and toe for the track. Plan your alignment before ordering.
Installation
Have a qualified workshop fit suspension and drivetrain parts, and leave engine work to a Porsche specialist. Get a wheel alignment after any suspension change. Always follow the maker's instructions and torque settings.
