Brake Pads
Brake pads are the one part you feel on every drive, so the compound matters more than almost anything else in the brake system. This range covers quiet, low-dust street pads through to high-temperature track compounds for Japanese and European performance cars. We stock brands like DIXCEL because they publish real friction and temperature data instead of vague marketing, which makes it far easier to match a pad to how the car is actually driven, from Sydney traffic to a full day at The Bend.

Pads are listed for Subaru WRX and STI, Toyota GR86 and BRZ, Nissan Z and 370Z, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, Volkswagen Golf GTI and R, and BMW M cars, along with other Japanese and European platforms. Part numbers change with calliper type, not just model, so check your chassis code, build year and calliper before ordering.

Front and rear pad sets across three broad groups: street compounds built for cold bite, low noise and low dust; sport compounds that tolerate spirited road and occasional circuit use; and track compounds designed to hold friction at high rotor temperatures. Pads are sold as axle sets. Some listings include wear sensors or shims, many do not.
Why These Brake Pads
A pad is a compromise between cold performance, hot performance, dust, noise and rotor wear, and no single compound wins all five. We choose to carry brands that are honest about that trade-off and give usable operating temperature ranges. Street compounds are picked for stop-start traffic and quiet operation. Track compounds are picked for consistent pedal feel deep into a session, accepting more dust and more noise as the cost.
Fitment & Installation
Match the compound to real use. A full race pad feels wooden and squeals until it has heat in it, while a street pad can fade badly after a few hard laps. Confirm calliper type first, as AU-delivered cars sometimes run different callipers to JDM or Euro-market equivalents, and some models have Brembo options that need their own part number. Owners and workshops generally replace pads with the rotors checked for thickness, glazing and runout at the same time, then bed the pads in to the manufacturer's procedure before any hard driving. Fresh fluid is cheap insurance for track use, and anti-squeal shims help with noisier compounds.

FAQ
Will these brake pads fit my car?
Fitment depends on model, build year and calliper type. Use the vehicle filters on this page, or send us your chassis code and calliper details and we'll confirm.
Which compound should I choose?
Daily driving and the odd spirited run suits a street or sport compound. Regular track days need a pad rated for higher rotor temperatures, and most people keep a second set for road use.
Do I need new rotors when I change pads?
Not always. Rotors within thickness spec, free of deep scoring and with acceptable runout can take new pads. Worn or heat-checked rotors should be replaced with the pads.
Are pads sold per axle or per wheel?
Pads are supplied as axle sets, so one part number covers both front wheels or both rears. Front and rear are ordered separately.
Do you ship brake pads Australia-wide?
Yes, we ship nationwide, including regional addresses.
