The Torque Solution HD Exhaust Cam Gear Set replaces the factory plastic composite exhaust cam gears on Subaru EJ207 and EJ25 single AVCS engines. On these engines only the intake cams have AVCS; the exhaust cams are non-AVCS, and their factory gears can turn brittle with age and fail, which can cause major engine damage.

Both gears are machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminium for strength and black anodised. Torque Solution rates them as a must for built engines with stiffer valve springs, which put more load on the cam gears. Sold as a pair, marked LH-EX and RH-EX, replacing Subaru parts 13054AA033 and 13049AA041.

Fits all EJ25 and EJ207 non-AVCS exhaust cams, including the Subaru WRX 2006–2014 (GD / GG / GE / GH), WRX STI 2004–2007 (GD), Liberty GT 2005–2009 (BL / BP) and Forester XT 2004–2013 (SG / SH).

Note: Exhaust cam gears only, for single AVCS EJ207 / EJ25 engines (non-AVCS exhaust cams). Not for AVCS intake cams or dual AVCS engines. Installation by a professional is recommended.
