The Baffle Stiffener is built specifically to reinforce the FA20 boxer engine's crankcase, tackling a known structural flaw in the Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 platform. SKU 194004.
This listing covers the Subaru BRZ (ZC6) and Toyota 86 (ZN6), both fitted with the FA20 boxer engine. The boxer layout splits the crankcase into two halves bolted together, and TOMEI's double plied design ties the left and right cases together far more rigidly than the factory setup, while the integrated baffle helps control oil surge and cavitation under hard cornering and braking.
