MST Performance Cold Air Intake - Volkswagen Golf 118TSI Twincharger (Mk5 / Mk6)

The MST Performance cold air intake replaces the factory airbox on the 1.4 TSI twincharger (turbo and supercharger) engine in the Volkswagen Golf 118TSI (Mk5 / Mk6). A smooth aluminium intake pipe and a high-flow nanofibre dry filter feed more air to the engine. On MST’s dyno it gained up to +9.3 hp at 5,700 rpm and +11.8 Nm at 2,700 rpm.

The intake pipe is mandrel-bent 6061 aluminium or cast aluminium, and a dedicated heat shield with a cover keeps hot engine-bay air away from the filter. Mounting hardware and MST’s installation instructions are included.

Note: Only for the 1.4 TSI twincharger. It does not fit the single-turbo 1.2 / 1.4 TSI Golf. Model years and regional specs vary, so send us a photo of your engine bay if you are unsure. Installation by a professional is recommended.
