MST Performance Cold Air Intake - Subaru WRX STI (VA)

The MST Performance cold air intake replaces the factory airbox on the 2.5L turbo EJ257 boxer in the Subaru WRX STI (VA). Custom heat shields with a heat-reflective coating isolate a 3" high-flow cone filter from engine-bay heat, and a special aluminium intake tube with a MAF sensor mount carries the cooler air to the turbo. The result is sharper throttle response, stronger acceleration and a more aggressive intake sound.

MST rates the kit at +24 hp and +38 Nm at 4,500 rpm. It works with the factory ECU calibration or a custom tune, and fits with standard hand tools. Clean the filter every 20,000 km and replace it at 60,000 km.

Note: Made for the 2.5L EJ257 WRX STI only; it does not suit the non-STI WRX. Installation by a professional is recommended.
