ACUITY Hall Effect Throttle Position Sensor - Honda Integra Type R (DC5) / Civic Type R (EP3)

The ACUITY Hall Effect Throttle Position Sensor is a direct replacement TPS for the K20A drive-by-cable throttle body used on the DC5 Integra Type R and EP3 Civic Type R. Honda only supplies the factory sensor as part of a complete throttle body, so this gives you a way to replace a worn or faulty sensor on its own.

ACUITY Hall effect TPS: sensor assembly

Instead of the factory wiper-style resistor, ACUITY uses a contactless Hall effect sensor with an on-board signal processor. With no rubbing contact to wear, the output stays smooth and steady and resists the vibration that upsets older sensors, especially with stiffer engine mounts. ACUITY tested the design to more than 2 million cycles.

The fibre-reinforced composite housing is tougher than the factory part, an integral o-ring replaces the paper gasket, and rolled connector pins resist damage during fitting. An extended calibration range lets each sensor be set exactly within the factory range.

Note: Suits the DC5 Integra Type R and EP3 Civic Type R throttle body and harness. Not compatible with the base-model K20A3 throttle body or wiring harness. Calibrate the sensor to factory specification after fitting. Installation by a professional is recommended.
