Sway Bar End Links

The range covers two main types:

• Fixed-length end links: Vehicle-specific links that replace the originals. They suit cars at or near standard ride height.
• Adjustable end links: Length can be set to suit a lowered car, so the sway bar sits neutral instead of being preloaded to one side.

Vehicle-specific links are listed for BMW (M2, M3, M4, 1 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series and Z4), Porsche (911, Boxster and Cayman), Subaru (BRZ and WRX/STI), Toyota (86 and GR Supra), Nissan (350Z, 370Z, GT-R and Skyline), Mazda MX-5, Ford Mustang, Hyundai Veloster N and Tesla Model 3. End links are chassis-specific, and front and rear links are usually different parts. Match the listing to your chassis code, for example:

• BMW: E46, E8X, E9X, F3X, F80, F82, F87, G29, G80, G82, G83, G87. Some E9X links exclude M models, and the M3 (E9X) and 1M have their own front link.
• Porsche: 911 (996, 997, 991), Boxster (986, 987, 981, 982), Cayman (987, 981, 982).
• Subaru and Toyota: BRZ and 86, WRX/STI (VA), WRX (VB), GR Supra (A90). A short front link is also listed for the BRZ and 86.
• Nissan: 350Z (Z33), 370Z (Z34), GT-R (R35), Skyline (V37).
• Mazda MX-5: NA, NC and ND, each with its own part.
• Others: Ford Mustang (S550), Hyundai Veloster N (JS), Tesla Model 3.

The Hardrace universal adjustable link is sized by length range and thread (280–319mm, M10). Measure your existing link and mounting thread before ordering.

Joints are typically rubber-isolated, polyurethane or spherical. Spherical joints give the most direct response but pass more road noise into the cabin. Link length can also differ between trims, model years and Australian-delivered variants, so check the fitment on each product page.

End links bolt between the sway bar and the strut body or lower control arm, depending on the platform. The job generally needs hand tools and a torque wrench. Penetrating oil helps with seized fasteners on older cars, and some cars are easier to work on with the suspension unloaded.

Set adjustable links with the car at ride height so the sway bar sits neutral, then torque to the manufacturer's specification. If other suspension parts are changed at the same time, an alignment check is worthwhile.

Do I need adjustable end links after lowering my car?
Not always. If the drop is enough to angle the sway bar noticeably, adjustable links are the better choice, because fixed links can bind and wear quickly in that position.

Are end links sold in pairs?
That varies by brand and part number. The quantity included is listed on each product page, so confirm it before ordering a front and rear set.

What is a universal adjustable end link?
It is a link sold by length range and thread size rather than by vehicle, such as the Hardrace 280–319mm M10 link. Measure your existing link and thread to confirm it suits.
