BMW M550i (G30) 2019–2023 Performance Parts & Upgrades

The BMW M550i xDrive (G30) was sold new in Australia from late 2019 to 2023, with an update in mid-2020. It uses BMW's 4.4L twin-turbo V8 with xDrive all-wheel drive, making it the fastest 5 Series below the M5. Many chassis parts are shared with other G30 5 Series models. Popular upgrades for the M550i

Intake: the Dinan carbon fibre cold air intake and Dinan replacement air filters.
Exhaust: Dinan high-flow middle exhaust and free-flow axle-back systems in black or polished tips.
Suspension: Dinan performance springs and ride and handling kits, plus HARDRACE camber kits, toe kits, a rear sway bar and subframe parts.
Brakes: Alcon front and rear big brake kits.

Choosing the Right Part

Model year: the M550i was updated in mid-2020. Some filters and engine parts list years, so check the title.
Not the M5: the M5 has its own engine tune, brakes and suspension. Many M5 parts won't fit the M550i, so shop the M5 page for those.
Shared 5 Series parts: HARDRACE and Alcon parts made for the G30 5 Series suit the M550i too. Check the title for the G30.

Installation

Have a qualified workshop fit brake, suspension and exhaust parts. Get a wheel alignment after changing camber or toe arms, and bleed the brakes after a big brake kit. Ask us if you're unsure what your car needs.
