The Audi S3 (8V) was sold in Australia from 2013 to 2020 as a Sportback and sedan, with the 2.0L EA888 turbo four and quattro all-wheel drive. It sits on the MQB platform it shares with the Volkswagen Golf R and GTI, so many engine, brake and suspension parts cross over. Choosing the Right Part
- 8V or 8V.5: the facelifted 8V.5 arrived in 2017. Most engine and suspension parts fit both, but check trim and aero parts, or shop the 8V.5 page.
- Sedan or Sportback: rear suspension and exhaust parts can differ by body style. APR's cat-back, for example, is made for the sedan only.
- S3 or Golf R: the Mk7 Golf R shares the engine and a similar all-wheel-drive system, so many parts fit both. Check the title for your car.
- Magnetic Ride: cars with magnetic dampers need a matching coilover kit or the APR suspension control unit upgrade.
Installation
Have a qualified workshop fit suspension, brake, drivetrain and engine parts. Get a wheel alignment after any suspension change, and bleed and road-test the brakes after brake work. Intake, turbo and fuel upgrades usually need a tune; ask us if you're unsure.
