APR Braided Stainless Steel Brake Line Set - Audi A3/S3 (8V) / VW Golf R - Front
APR's braided brake lines are engineered to replace the factory rubber hoses that expand, soften and eventually fail with age. Built from 304 stainless steel braid over a smooth bore PTFE core, they deliver a firmer pedal and more consistent braking feel for your Audi A3, Audi S3 or Volkswagen Golf R.
This listing covers the front brake lines for the Audi A3 and Audi S3 (8V) plus the Volkswagen Golf R. Each line is application specific rather than a universal adapter kit, so fitment, length and hose ends are correct straight out of the box with no extra leak points to worry about.
Specifications
- 304 stainless steel braided construction with smooth bore PTFE (Teflon) core
- Smoked clear PVC outer jacket over the braid
- Red anodised inserts and Cr3+ steel connectors
- Each line pressure tested to approximately 20.7 MPa (3,000 psi) prior to sale
- Independently certified as SAE low expansion lines, averaging around 0.23 mL/m at 6.9 MPa and 0.36 mL/m at 20 MPa
- Compatible with DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluids
- Front line set, direct fit, no adapters required
