GT-series wings (GT-250, GT-1000, GT-2000): APR's core wing lineup. The GT-250 is a pedestal-mount single-element wing suited to fast street cars and club track days. The GT-1000 is a chassis-mount swan-neck dual-element design built to run higher angles without stalling. The GT-2000 is the flagship, with the longest chord and the most downforce APR offers off the shelf. Universal fitment options are available, such as the GT-1000 61" swan-neck wing.

GTC-series wings (GTC-200, GTC-300, GTC-500): pedestal-mount adjustable wings, numbered by chord length in millimetres. The GTC-200 suits smaller chassis such as the Toyota GT86 / GR86 and Subaru BRZ. The GTC-300 is the common fitment across WRX, STI, Civic Type R, Evo and Supra JZA80. The GTC-500 is the widest option, aimed at wide-body builds.

Splitters must be run with their support rods fitted correctly so they can handle high-speed load. Without the rods, or with them mounted loosely, the splitter can flex, crack or tear out of the bumper mounts. Some bumpers require trimming for the splitter lip to sit cleanly, so check the fitment notes for the specific part before any cutting is done.

Wing riser height is the other common consideration. Taller risers on chassis-mount wings such as the GT-1000 and GT-2000 can foul the boot lid when it opens, particularly on sedans and hatches with a shallow boot opening. Clearance should be checked at full boot travel, not just with the boot resting shut. Chassis-mount wings generally require holes to be drilled through the boot floor into structural mounting points, so they are not a bolt-on-and-go job on most cars.

Canards and splitters that use factory bumper holes are more straightforward. Kits that require new holes drilled in the bumper take longer and are worth test-fitting before final drilling. A digital wing angle indicator is available if you want to set and repeat wing angle accurately.

Will a chassis-mount wing clear my boot lid? It depends on the car and the riser height chosen. Some cars need the boot lining modified for the mounting hardware, and boot clearance should be checked at full open rather than closed.
