The Snow Performance Stage 1 Boost Cooler is a water-methanol injection kit for turbocharged and supercharged petrol engines. An adjustable boost switch turns the pump on at your chosen boost level and sprays a fixed amount of water-methanol into the intake until boost drops below that point. Snow rates it at a 30–70 hp gain on forced-induction engines once tuned, with a big boost in effective octane and a cooler intake charge on pump fuel.

It suits low- to medium-boost street cars, drag cars and positive-displacement (Roots or twin-screw) superchargers. You can also trigger it from another switch, such as a full-throttle or nitrous switch. The kit is built around Snow's OEM-approved Extreme Environment 300 psi UHO pump, which has sealed and potted O-ring connections to keep moisture out, plus a heat flange, twin seals and custom motor windings so it runs cooler and lasts longer.

Every wetted part is 100% methanol resistant (stainless steel, nickel plating, hard anodising and EPDM), and Snow's ACU-SEAL compression fittings keep the system leak-free even on straight methanol. This SNO-201 version uses red high-temp nylon line with quick-connect fittings and includes the 3 qt reservoir.

Note: For boosted petrol engines only (not diesel). The car needs a tune to make the most of the extra octane, so plan for a tune session after install. Installation by a professional is recommended.
